Lyn Hinds
Bass Guitar & Vocals

Lyn's mother says that she was singing before she could talk, crawling around the house as a baby humming tunes….in tune! Hailing from Sydney's Northern Beaches area, Lyn was involved in musical activities at school, and upon entering university (she is a qualified schoolteacher) she played tuba in the uni band (earning her the nickname 'tuba lips'!) and singing in local rock bands. She was told by a music professor at uni that she had perfect pitch.

After graduating from uni she performed as 'Lady Lyn' at the Sydney theatre restaurant Bunratty Castle, and sang and played bass in the Irish/Celtic band Drops O' Brandy, who held down a residency at the prestigious Sydney Hilton Hotel.

Upon moving to Port Macquarie, she recorded some of her original songs at David's recording studio, and there began a professional and personal relationship which culminated with the pair marrying in 1996.
